Yes, the current state of oil prices seems to be what everyone is taking about these days, so what does that mean for Source Rock Energy Partners? Despite the downturn, Source Rock is managing fairly well during these tough economic times. Recent project successes with large clients have provided a reasonable level of workflow to move us through these times.

We have also kicked-off an exciting opportunity for Jet Lift Systems to roll out one of our new technologies, the JetSweep horizontal well cleanout process. We will be starting to work under contract in Oman for PDO (Shell) with this technology. Our expectation is for this to be a long term contract, and we will be working through a local service agent. The agent is excited to expand these services through the Middle East and our hope is that this project will gain much interest from other potential customers and lead to broad expansion of the JetSweep process and other Jet Lift Systems technologies.

The future of Source Rock continues to look very promising and we are very excited to roll out our new technology as well as to continue advancing our current technologies to meet our customer’s needs.   On the lighter side of Source Rock news, we have finally settled into our new space by the airport and are enjoying the much needed shop space. This space allows us to properly test our tools and technologies as well as maintaining an orderly inventory. The “new view” might not be the majestic downtown buildings, but the occasional F-16 take offs and periodic deer sightings are quite nice as well.
